Good evening all, I hope you all had a prosperous and wonderful Christmas. Having looked at many blogger's gifts you all recieved i'm sure you are all a happy bunch.
But now the worst part of Christmas is here, the sales!!!! GAAAAAAAH! I hate them, I know you can grab some amazing bargains but I do still think paying £200 for a bag that has come down from £600 is not a bargain in my eyes. Hey, ho that's just me I can be a right skin flint, that is probably due to the fact I have had lack of funds for the past 1 plus years.
So, instead of going to the sales I took a trip today with my mum, dad and brother's girlfriend to Brentwood, they have a lovely woods that is home to wild deer. It is incredible seeing these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. Also, there was geese, ducks and reindeer that you could feed and pet, I have always been very sceptical of places like these but they are well looked after by the park.

The woods in Brentwood is beautiful and I am a total tomboy when it comes to woods as I love all the mud, the wellies came out and I couldn't help but trudge through it all. I could be there all day if I took my sketch book and watercolours.
I don't think people realise how picturesque Essex is and the amount of greenery that surrounds us, it is one of the most stunning counties for countryside.
If ever you are in the county go to a local park and take a walk, you will enjoy what my county has to offer.

Adore this, I grew up in Clavering and had the most picturesque country upbringing. Nothing beats pub lunch and a sunday walk.

It's what I love about Essex, even though some is built up now the majority of the county is still green, and not a lot of people believe me when i say that.
ReplyDeleteI could have been there all day,
as a writer and artist as well it gives so much inspiration.
Love it and the pubs aren't too bad either :)
Thanks for your lovely comment,
