Baby it's cold outside.....
With the nights getting colder and nights getting shorter; there is a saviour that can keep away that winter chill and that can live in our wardrobes, yes..... the faux fur coat is back. Here is a selection of those that have caught my eye and make you look less Cruella de vil and more dressed to kill.

This coat reminds me of a rabbit; which could in turn remind me of my rabbit Flopsy who I loved dearly. Any way it is a very unusual style of fur but very intriguing and looks incredible warm. The colour is synonymous with 1920's fashion, all you need is a few feathers and a flapper dress and you could be in your very own boardwalk empire.

I know this coat is not a full fur one but I love the colour and the fur around the collar and cuffs really sets it apart from the classic fur. For anyone who has seen 'Almost Famous' this reminded me of the coat worn by Penny Lane (Kate Hudson) of course I fell in love with it. It definately has a 1970's feel to it and is a classic example of fashion rejuvinating for the current climate.

This style has been labelled 'teddy bear' fur and I can see why, it looks comfortable and warming. Just like the teddy bear you had when you were little. The price is very reasonable for asos and I would happily keep this in my wardrobe for many years. Plus it has a very cute hood just incase you want to take looking like a teddy beat to the next level.
