TIBT - Things I Bought Today

Today I visited Lakeside where I do not usually stop in River Island. One, because it can be very expensive and two, sometimes their sizes can be a little bit on the small side. However I did find some bits in there which when I saw them I knew they were coming home with me.

This Bear hat is so cute with the little ears as well, I could not believe the price that it had fallen to. £3!! I picked it up and would not let it out of my sight.

River Island - £3 was £15

What's cool about it is it looks great on, it's very warm and it was a bargain. Has anyone noticed that the pavements and cars are iced up in the morning? everyone is going to need to keep warm and also it has a little button and hole at the bottom so you can do it up to stop it falling off.

River Island - £10 was £30

From the above picture it looks like the next item is a cardigan of sorts as it has a furry hood and toggles, but in fact it is just a hood and scarf accompaniment.

As you see in this picture I have tried to capture it to show that the scarf is just placed around your neck, so the hood hangs below on your back and the toggles are done up to keep your neck/chest warm.
Again, when I found out the price I thought to myself I won't find it anywhere else and might not get the chance to buy it again. I think I would cringe at the thought of buying this at full price, I love it but I would not pay £30 for it.

Eyeshadow - No.7 collection
Blue and Green

New Look - £5

I had to take a look in New Look, I love New Look's new range at the moment, they are focusing on block colours. They have Green Dresses with Blue belts and Pink heels with Red on the toes, I think their message for the next trend is experiment with colour.
I found this Jacket for £5, I tried it on and I love the feel of it. I am currently a teaching assistant in a primary school and this jacket would go well with my white shirt and black jeans.

I think that could be a photo opportunity of 'What I am wearing today' section.

Primark - £4

I have so many scarves in my wardrobe but when it is a bit chilly like this you can never have too many. I have never gone for an orange coloured scarf, I normally go for black or red, but this made an interesting choice and when I tried it on I thought it matched my colouring very well. I only ever wear my leather jackets so this colour on a black background means I can be spotted from a mile away.

Let's just say I am a very happy bunny and very proud of myself for not spending all my money, the rest of it went into my bank account and there is shall stay, or just until I find another excuse to go shopping, Valentine's Day?!
