So after 14 months of marriage Russell Brand and Katy Perry, Hollywood's Willy Wonka couple have decided to split.
Now, I didn't believe it at first because ever since they got married they have been in the news about their apparant rocky marriage.
But it seems as though the rumours this time are true.
The reason I thought they would go the long haul was because they were so compatible with each other. I think a lot of women wondered what kind of woman would tame the wild man from Essex, turns out it was a candy floss addict who kissed a girl and liked it, go figure!
and how they met was incredible, she threw a bottle of water at him whilst he was rehearsing the VMAs in America, from then on it was like magic.
So what made them split up?
well I think everyone would probably put it down as something to do with Russell, because he was the womanizing crack addict who loved creating controversy.
But apparently this time it is down to Miss Perry!
Sources have many reasons but some of the main ones are
-she was partying too much and not taking care of the marriage
-Her refusal to put her career on hold to start a family.

I don't trust internet sites like TMZ and E! just because they are gossip sites. Although I do love a bit of Perez Hilton now and then.
Us mere mortals who live in the real world will (i suppose) never know the real story only they do. But I was genuinly shocked that they have decided to call it a day.
