Time for a treat...or two

Christmas time is most definitely upon us, a time of giving, receiving and love. As one grows up you find yourself loving the holiday much more for the less material aspects like being with the ones you love the most and sharing in the laughter of good company.
I set myself a goal that I would get all my christmas shopping done in one week and I most certainly did it. I cannot stand the pushing and shoving of the christmas crowds but I braved the crowd and I won.
Now I have bought everyone elses presents it is now time for mine, I took £30 form my tip jar and look a trip to Matalan, one of my favourite shops.

I have not worn rings in a long time and thought for a long time that they didn't suit me. But I thought I would actually buy some and rock them out for a little while. The Red oval ring caught my attention because it is a real statement ring. I have seen the same style ring (more expensive, of course) being worn by Lea Michele at the Golden Globes 2011.
It is certainly an eye opener and when you are wearing a black leather jacket and dark jeans.

I chose the black stone with the diamonte surrounding because it reminds me of vintage 1920's glamour. I will be wearing both tomorrow when I am rocking out to Kasabian.

I could not pass up an oppertunity to miss out on a cosy hat, I love hats especially Trapper hats, they keep me warm and look amazing. I will not be wearing this tomorrow though because I will get too hot.

I had to pick up these socks and for £1.50 they are a real bargain. I have so many socks in my drawers, I would own a sock shop if I could my own little boutique shop. One can dream I suppose.

This was my final purchase of the night, at the moment sachel bags are in high demand and Matalan have so many styles of Sachel. I particular like this one because of the detail, the two buckles give it a 1940's edge. As you can probably gather by now my favourite colour to be seen with is Red. It is such a bold colour it catches the eye easily and really gives off the notion that I could not give a toss about what people think.
